How the game works
AKSJEHAI is a stock market simulator. You trade real Oslo Børs shares at real prices, using play money, so you can learn without risk.
What this is not
- Not real money: all game cash is play money and has no value outside AKSJEHAI.
- Not real trading: no shares are bought or sold on any exchange.
- Not withdrawable: gains can never be paid out, and purchased game cash cannot be exchanged back into money.
- Not investment advice: nothing in the game, including the support assistant, is advice on what to do with real money.
- Not a broker: to invest real money, use a licensed bank or broker and make sure you understand the risks first.
Why it works as training
The game reproduces the parts of real investing that are easiest to learn by doing:
Reading a quote
Last price, change, high, low, volume and turnover – the figures investors check first. Every stock page shows them.
Fees reduce returns
Every trade costs 0.05 % brokerage (minimum 29 kr). Frequent small trades add up quickly.
Average cost
If you buy the same stock several times, your cost per share is averaged, including fees. This figure determines your profit.
Unrealised vs realised profit
Unrealised profit can disappear tomorrow. It only becomes realised when you sell.
Diversification
Putting everything into one stock increases risk. Spread your holdings across industries and see how the fluctuations even out.
Time and discipline
Prices move every day. Make a plan, keep a watchlist, and assess your strategy over weeks rather than minutes.
The rules
| Starting cash | 100,000 kr |
|---|---|
| Brokerage | 0.05 %, min 29 kr |
| Orders | Market orders, executed at the last price. No short selling or borrowing. |
| Trading hours | Oslo Børs is open Mon–Fri 09:00–16:25 (Oslo time). In this game you can also trade outside opening hours, at the last known price. |
| Prices | From e24.no (Millistream), delayed about 15 minutes – the same as e24 shows without a real-time subscription. |
| Leaderboard | "Best return" measures growth on all capital you have added, so buying game cash does not improve your ranking. |
